It finally happened

Finally my powder is being shipped and I can start reloading again after 10 years of not being able to reload...

The powder I am getting is True Blue and will be loading cast bullets for 9mm, .45acp, .454causll and .357mag. I have never used TB and ended up buying it because that is the only powder I could find at the time. I downloaded the Ramshot manual but thought I would ask you guys for some input.

The guns I am loading for are
Glock 17 - 9mm
Glock 30 - .45acp
Ruger blackhawk (old 3 screw) in .357mag
Ruger SRH 454 casull

I am loading for plinking, accuracy and relaxing. If I use them in competition it will be against my GF to see who buys dinner, LOL

Do any of you guys have pet loads I can start with to get me on the paper?

What are the specs on the 9mm bullets you're using?

Also congrats on the purchase.

My most recent load shot of 9MM was W231 at 4.6grains. 115grain projectile and a Federal #100 primer. I was shooting cans at ease. Was on target, but still fine tuning it a little.

I've just been reloading RN projectiles in 9MM.

LFP I am not certain which projectile I look under....if you go with the lead projectile then it looks like 4.2 minimum load with a max of 5.0.

I've never reloaded LFP which is why I am not 100% sure. I am waiting for someone who has to chime in so I can learn as well.

Post text deleted; I mis-read True Blue as Trail Boss (abbreviation the same, "TB") Oops.

Good luck. Enjoy your dinner.

Hmmm, I thought Grizz12 asked about True Blue?

I have been using True Blue in my Magnum pistols for quite a while. Lots of shooting .44 Magnum with 240-250 gr. cast bullets and so far all is good. Meters great. No problems with .357 Magnum loading and get some pretty accurate loads with 160 gr. Lachmiller SWC and mid to upper True Blue loads. While I don't have much to compare it to it seems a lot like AA 9 or WC820.

I have just started using it in my .45 ACP, but not enough shooting to decide yet. So far using Precision 200 gr SWC (black bullets) for my 1911.

He did ask about True Blue. lol

I'm still looking which projectile he needs to be under for LFP data numbers.
