Saw this sitting in the used cabinet at my local gun store, and thought it needed a good home.

Condition was awesome, and I think it dates to the late 70s or early 80s.

Took it to the local indoor range and function checked it. It worked 100%, and I am very pleased. Nice little 6-shooter for 225 bucks. The target pictured shows the first cylinder of ammo that I ran through the gun.

It wil fit in nicely to my small collection of Charters. Don't really know how I ended up with so many Charters, but they all work well for me.

I have one a lot like that, pachymers instead of wood originals though. They are fun to shoot and inexpensive, but the cost of ammo kind of cancels that out for me

. There is a member on here named 32 magnum who can tell you from serial number when your gun was made. Nice gun!

BTW, looking at your paper, you must have better aim than I do.

Oops, forget to put in my post that the Police Bulldog is a .38 special.

The modern incarnation of the gun is stainless, has a 2.2-inch barrel and is called a Police Undercover.

Ok, I see that now. Hadn't stopped to read the fine print. I have never seen a .38 in 3" tapered barrel before... I like it. Same format as the older .44's, but can probably shoot for longer without getting beat to death.
