1917 Colt firing pin

I have a Colt 1917 45ACP. I need to replace the firing pin. They call the retainer a rivet. Does that mean it has to be drilled out ? I can't find anybody that has a firing pin in stock even Numrich.
Thanks

Since they have not made that model revolver for over 50 years, I doubt you will find one in stock anywhere. However, a good smith can make you one, and replace it for you.
