Case trimming

Out of 67 reloads using hornady brass for my 308 only one needs to be trimmed.

Is that normal? Gun is the RRA LAR 8.

Most cases were 1.997-2.005 or somewhere in that ball park.

I was planning on having to trim everytime but I just did a full length resize and loaded them.

That appears to be normal variation. I see variation such as that in new brass. I would just trim to the 'Trim To" length in your manual. 2.015 is max case length for the 308.
