Has Classic Arms sold out of their K31's?

I can't access their website here at work...and I want to pick up a K31. Does anyone know where to find one?

Classic Arms is good about updating their web site on a near-daily basis. They also state that if it's on the site then they have it in stock. I've watch things come and go, so I tend to believe it.

On February 3rd I ordered an M24/47 from them and it arrived the 11th, so turn-around time is good with them, too.

Cant go wrong with a k31,I bought a second one when they were dirt cheap just for the magazine.Bought an extra barrel for one in the event that i get the drive to convert one to .308.

Why convert it?
The barrel is close enough to 308 now that you can neck size and use 308 bullets.

Actually Classic Arms has sold itself to new owners, Ben will be around to help for a while.

I can't say I blame him considering the political winds of "change"

Know an outfit that will rebarrel with a .308 match barrel but they need a original barrel for the threads.They cut the barrel and use the threaded end as a bushing to screw the new barrel into.So i get to keep the original barrel if i want to take it back to stock,and i can use the 3000 .308 cases that i have on hand versus the 200 reloadable 7.5 that i have.

So figuring at least a $200 barrel you
are looking at around $550 for a conversion.

Or 1447 pieces of 7.5x55 PRVI brass.

Paid $15 for k31 barrel,been sitting on .308 barrel for 15 years and traded little for it back then.Know local builder of match rifles for 20 years and have micro sights for k31 .Throw in tub of match ammo from when i shot m14 on army team so its a win win situation.Goes to show you never throw out or get rid of anything.

No need to neck size anything. The k31 7.5 Swiss cartridge uses standard .308 bullets anyway.
Actually unless you're a gunsmith/machinist, rebarreling might be more difficult than you think. It does take the right equipment. Ask here.

I meant once you fire the 7.5 Swiss round just neck size the case and use a 308 bullet when you reload it.
Once fired the case needs resizing so if you start with boxer primed 7.5Swiss factory ammo (like Privi) you can then just neck size those and use 308 bullets.

Not sure why one would spend 3 times the cost of the gun to put a 308 barrel on what is essentially a 308 barreled gun (except the advantage of using 308 cases but does not seem to justify that 3X expense, IMO)

Maybe I'm not understanding, Wulfmann. Buy new (or used) brass from Grafs, Norma, Ruag, whatever, all you need to do is full length size it, prime it and load using a standard .308 projectile.
Just neck sizing seldom ever works more than twice with k31 fired brass.
