Africa Hunt

Well folks, next June I will be married 20 years, never had a honeymoon just went straight to work(Army at the time). We have worked hard and have been pretty successful all in all so we want to plan a hunting trip to Africa next year. I would love some advice esp. if you have been there. We want to hunt plains game, not real excited about the dangerous stuff. What is the best time of year, area and if you could rec. a guide, that woud be great. Thanks in advance.

Savage pop over to accuratereloading.com and talk with the guys and gals there, several are PH's and agents for same, some have been on just one and some close to 20 or more.

Just be perpared for over load on info

I cannot help you by GIVING advice, unfortunately, but I would love to TAKE some advice, on how to get a woman that will accept an African hunting trip as a honeymoon! Well, done, sir!

Thanks FirstFreedom, she is a true keeper. Been together since highschool. She loves to hunt and fish allmost as much as I do. I believe that one of the glories of this hunt will be when she bags a large Impala, Kudu or whatever that me or any of the people that I run with has ever seen much less has on her wall. She actually wants to take a cape buff. Personally I am scared to death of them. Anything that can take 4 or 5 rounds from a .458 and still kick your you know has my respect.
