Remington Mod. 11 slam-firing
I have a Remington mod. 11 12GA, 28"bbl, serial 208881 that is slam-firing --- very scary. I have had two gunsmiths supposedly fix it, but it's still doing it occasionally, and occasionally is too often. I want to use it for home defense, but can't rely on it as it is. Is there anyone out there who can fix it correctly?
Thanks, Dave |

Hard to say without seeing it, but check the safety sear and the spring that controls it. Problems there can let the hammer jump the trigger. Goatwhiskers the Elder
