question on the Burris P.P.E.R. mounts

am seriously looking at the Burris PEPR mounts and am wondering if this mount has a see-thru design (the pics kinda look like it).

I just finished my 6.8 SPC build and will want to be abot to have quick acces to my back up irons for those up close and quick shots (most deer I have shot have been under 50yds with the shortest at 10 feet in 2008 and they all have shown themselves in a blink of an eye and all would have been gone just as fast if i didn't have either iron sights or a really low power scope.

folks that own or have used this mount your input is appreciated.

otherwise will go with a Larue 101 mount with quick detach capability and standard WARNE medium tacitcal mounts.
