clean with what brushes?

clean guns like their barrel with what kind of brushes? can some brushes harm the guns?

Bronze brushes are fine for cleaning bores and will not harm them.

Agreed... use bronze brushes. Because Bronze is a softer metal than what lines a barrel, so it won't scratch it! There are some nylon brushes too, but they won't really clean that well.

I don't know if they're still available, but the blue "plastic (Nylon?)" ones sold by Midway under the "Frankford Arsenal" brand were the best I ever found. Every bit as scrubby as bronze but didn't give false positives from copper solvents.
