small mag rifle primers

so the shortage of primers is pretty bad, when you can find them people want upwards of $70 for a case. I found some CCI smr for $39 so i bought them. I normally use them for .223 and also .357mag. My question is what affect will this have on my loads. I reload for Mini 14 ranch, mossberg MVP and .357mag taruaus tracker 4in bbl. I never load hot usually around 25gns of w748 or cfe223 for 55gn bullets. For .357mag around 14gn w296 158gn bullets Thanks for the input

Always start low and work up. Don't swap primers unless you already have a load you personally have tested.

I typically start out with 10% less powder and work back up.

If you were using magnum primers before then you may end up having to increase a slight bit on the ,223 loads. Though I would advise backing the powder off a half grain, and working up from there.
