.25-35 Winchester
I have an older rifle chmabered in .25-35. I am going to start to reload for it again. Does anyone else here reload for this cartridge? Has anyone here tried using Nosler Ballistic Tips for it? I realize that this isn't exactly a high-speed round, but these bullets should expand at those velocities.
Any and all feedback would be appreciated. |

Could also be a number of other rifles, including the Savage 1899.

Had a very very early Savage 1899 some ten years ago I had a pet load for using the Nosler 120 gr BT using IMR3031 and dont have the data anymore as I let it go with the dies and the Rifle for a tidy sum. Have to love the 99s rotary style magazine as you can use pointed bullets to your hearts delight.

All I have ever used in the things is the Hornaday 117 round nose. Can be a very accurate round too.
