Jpoint problem& safe 9mms for major?

Which 9 pistols are safe for MPF?

I have a new Jpoint with a few good batteries but no dot. Looking front to rear I can see the laser is on but there is no projection. I've tried cleaning the batteries and tweaking the connections but still no light. Are these bad often?

No that's not normal. Send it back to JP and they will replace it no questions asked.
On a side not I run jpoints on my open steel gun and open shotgun. I do not feel they are suitable for major 9. If I were to shoot major 9 I would go with a cmore or a bullet proofed doctor (doctor sight that grams engineering sets up to be both brighter and more shock resistant.)

long time

IME there are no standard pistols chambered in 9x19 that are "safe" for Major Nine.

My Major Nine pistol is a hardchromed Witness running a (super)tight-chambered Nowlin barrel hard-fit by Mr. Bob Cogan of Accurate Plating & Weaponry.
Since '95.......

(a few other minor tweaks were performed by me)

Most any 9x19-chambered pistol will run Major PF ammo; question becomes "for how long?"
Safety first.
