1100 Timney pull trigger

I have a remmy 1100 trap with a timney pull trigger. With the trigger assy. out of the gun pulling the trigger moves the sear and releases the hammer, in the gun the bolt operates fine but when you pull the trigger you get travel but the hammer does not drop.....any ideas? (FYI it is a singles trigger, Bolt stays open after every shot)

Call Timney. Not familiar with their shotgun triggers; however, if the trigger has an overtravel adjustment, then the hammer won't fall if the adjustment is incorrect.
