Two weeks ago, I bought a Kahr CW45 to go with my CW9. I got tired of waiting on a Ruger SR1911 to become available at a reasonable price, so I picked up a Desert Eagle 1911G, and I'm glad that I did. A fantastic 1911 for the price!
Starting to weed out a few now...I just sold a Colt Trooper MKIII and a S&W Model 59. |

Well, just crud! A few days ago I posted, XDs as my next. Been watching CA DOJ "approved" list for a couple of months to see when I could buy one. Called up Springfield this morning to ask at what stage the testing was at and how long a wait? Not to be! The gun doesn't have at least two features CA requires before even going into the testing. 1. loaded chamber indicator 2. magazine disconnect. So, law enforcement only. crud!

I'm saving my nickels and dimes for a 1911. I even fished a quarter out of the sewer to add to the savings jar. At least there are magazines still available.

I have a Gen4 Glock 34 on the way to go with my Gen3 35. Since the standard mag for it is 17 rounds I needed to get it bought sooner rather than later being that Colorado is probably going to pass this positively idiotic mag ban.

My short list right now, in no order of importance...
FNX 45 / 45 Tactical ( I love my FNX9) SIG 226 (9mm) or 229 Beretta PX4 Storm Inox 9mm SIG 220 Walther PPK stainless but, all of that is on the backburner, for a few weeks. My next purchase is a Mossberg 590A1 or a 500 special purpose mariner. LGS has both in stock, I havent decided yet. |

Just got an XDs a month or so ago; next up is a Ruger LCR in .22mag ...
Hey, FullCaseLoad ... just doublechecked; my XDs has a loaded chamber indicator, a small piece of metal that sticks up from the top of the slide when there is a round loaded for visual and tactile evidence ... as for the disconnect ... can't help ya there ...

I am forbidden from buying another gun for ONE YEAR, because I've bought three in the past year and a half totaling $1,000
Or that's what the girlfriend says...we'll see if I can do it.

Next one will be either a Glock 26 or a Shield 9mm. Had a 26, sold it, and now want another one. However, I keep hearing good things about the Shield too, and may have to find a range to try it out.

Have a 1911, have a Glock... I'm pretty much covered on semi autos, I need a wheelgun and I've had my eye on the S&W 686 SSR for a LONG time.

im torn right now between a sig 229 in 40 or a glock 23...
have a PPQ9 and would like to add a da/sa for concealed carry...but glock 23 has many ups purely for the fact that parts should be plentiful due to popularity and it can shoot 3 different rounds with just a barrel switch...could come in handy if some ammunition becomes more available than the others im not sure if the sig 229 has the same interchangeability of parts, but if it does that may be the tipping point |

It's always I've got several handguns on my long list of wants and not enough cash to go around. But with the current craziness out there right now my attention has shifted more towards another AR. That said, if I can find one of the new Colt Concealed Carry Government models later this year I might not be able to resist.

Just got a Ruger SR1911 Commander that was at the top of the list. My new next choice will likely be another 1911 45acp. Exactly what one I do not know.

It will be another .22 pistol,,,
I think I will buy either a Ruger SR-22 or a S&W M&P .22 LR.
It will be for me to shoot and play with,,, While I wait for my next young friend to graduate university. I've done this three times now,,, It's been very satisfying for my old soul. Aarond .

Got it. Another S&W 3rd Gen - in this case, a model 6904. This will replace a revolver and a DAO 9mm that I am selling, in order to get down to TWO pistols (both 9mm, both DA/SA, both with decocker/ safety on the slide, where it belongs). With two pistols, so similar, I'll be able to get better value from practice - no more having to deal with different trigger designs.

Last year was pretty good to me. I did buy and sell a G20 and ruger blackhawk...wish I'd kept the Glock now.
I traded my M&P 9c for a dirtbike a month ago, so I'm thinking I need to pick up something full sized to replace it with. My problem is; 9mm or 45...I'm thinking another M&P.

I mentioned I was still looking for a SW Model 66 with a 2 1/2" barrel in my previous post. Well, I'm still looking, but until then, I've got a reserve on a new Ruger SR1911 CMD with a LGS. As soon as the next shipment comes in, one will have my name on it. Can't believe after all these years with all the 1911s I've gone through, this will be the first time I have one that does not come with the standard 5" barrel and slide.
