Remington Kleanbore Primers.

Are all Remington primers made this way now? I thought only the 209 muzzleloader primers used this until I looked at the back of my .40S&W UMC box. I did notice a great reduction in residue on my muzzleloaders breech plug. Maybe I should switch from CCI to Remington? Winchesters are too soft in my opinion, and Federal are not available to me. Anyone tried these Remington Kleanbore? Another thing, clean is spelled CLEAN, not KLEAN. Guess someone at Remington made a goof.

They've been called kleanbore for over 50 years. They came up with that designation to differentiate from corrosive primers used before that.

I have a box of remington 30-40 krag shells here that are at LEAST 50 years old, they have the kleanbore proudly displayed on the front of the box.

Well I must have Kleanbore confused with the new 209 muzzleloading primers.
