Does anyone know?
I understand that ATK owns St. Marks powder and Federal ammunition, and operates Lake City ammo plant. I also herd on the web somewhere that CCI bought Federal, is this so, or does ATK now own CCI? And what about RCBS, Speer, Outers, and Weaver scopes? I’m just thinking that soon one company will own or operate all firearms related businesses. What do you guys know/ think about this?

ATK owns Federal, CCI/Speer and is contract manager of Lake City. I think St. Marks is still General Dynamics.

Sad to my way of thinking, but ATK seems to be one of the good guys.
I really liked it when Speer and CCI were the local company in Lewiston, Ideeeeho. Yes, Weaver, RCBS, Federal and likely others by now are part of ATK. Crusty Deary Ol'Coot |

Not unusual in any large business. IE there are only 3 washing machine mfgs in the US but probably close to 100 brands of US made machines.

ATK manages the marketing rights for Duck Commander and Buck Commander, but does not own the company itself.
At least that's what I gather from the limited reading I've done. |
