1st time out with Sig P220 Carry
Just purchased a Sig P220 Carry and took it to the range last night. Have to admit I had a little knot in my stomach never shooting a .45 before. But after shooting I just about wet myself. Shoots very accurate and like velvet. 1 1/2 groupings at 25 feet for 1st time I didn't think was too bad. Felt recoil was actually less than my Taurus PT111 Milenium Pro 9mm. Problem is my 50 round box was gone in what felt like seconds. Awesome!

Thanks thebantas. Now I must admit that target is of my last clip of the night. The grouping on the first clip was within a 6" daimeter but my excuse there is going to be nerves. All in all so far I'm really happy with the pistol.

Nicely done. I love my 220 Elite Stainless. It's the full size version and I kinda wish I would have gotten the carry model. I certainly can't complain though.
Post some pics of the beauty too. :-)

I have the SS version of the P220 Carry and I love it. It is a bit more challenging than some firearms to conceal but I have found a shoulder holster under a very light (or heavy) jacket makes it dissappear.
I have also carried it in a waste pack but I stopped when I accidently pulled off the rear sight practicing drawing. My wife and I own a variety of pistols and even though I am a huge fan of the 1911 I like this even better. Enjoy! Great companion to have.

I carry my Carry comfortably and well-concealed in a iwb holster. So far, I've found this pistol to be reliable and accurate and it fits my hand well. More ammo capacity would be nice but then you wouldn't have the relatively slim profile that makes the pistol so easy to carry and handle. It's a trade-off I've come to terms with.
