Favorite AR-15 Magazines
Question: With the high demand for AR-15 mags right now - I would like to know what high-capacity magazines everyone finds to work reliably and be their favorite.
I recently purchased a Stag AR - haven't even shot it yet. I bought several magazines over the past couple of months leading up to my purchase. Hope to shoot within the next 2 weeks. Thoughts anyone? Thx - Rourke

+ 1 for the PMAGS...
I also have a couple H&K 30rd mags that are pretty great...but you can buy 3 or 4 pmags for the price of one of those. Stick with the Pmags. |

I have found that the old Adventureline milsurps are supremely reliable. I see advertisements for "third gen followers", and I scratch my head and wonder...

PMAGS are good, mil spec mags seem pretty much all the same and of fine quality too.

G.I. mags with the Magpul follower.
NOTE: It's a good idea to round off the sharp edge you often find inside the front of the mag. It doesn't happen often, but sometimes the case neck will stick on that edge and jam the gun. |

Anyone have any experience with Chuck Daly AR mags? Local gunshop has them for $16.95.
Thx - Rourke
