SDB getting the primers out?
Never did much but mount my SDB and start loading. Now I find I need to get about 100 primers out of the tube (long story). Any easier way than turning the bench upside down and shaking?

It has been a few years since I upgraded from my SDB to my 650 but I think the best thing would be to remove the whole priming system and then turn it up side down. Since the primer bar stays with the priming system it will hold the primers in so they don't spill. Take out the primer follower and dump them out.

As I recall, the whole priming assy and tube is very easy to remove, using the 2 or 3 cap head screws by the white plastic primer feeder assy.

Yup, remove the whole priming system and turn it upside down.

Thanks guys,
Was scared that if I took the primer system off if they would all try to fall out somehow, but sounds like I'm okay with that. If you see a post asking the best way to pick up 130 primers from all over a hardwood floor you'll know it didn't work out to well |

If that method doesn't work, I suggest the 16-Gallon Shop-Vac...
You are speaking of "used" primers ? ? ?
