Norinco shotgun question
I have a Norinco 12 gauge shotgun. It's marked YL12. I'm trying to find a replacement forend for it but I'm not having much luck. I think it's supposed to be an Ithaca 37 copy (load and eject from bottom port) but I bought a pistol grip/forend set and neither fits. The replacement needs not be original For example, ATI sells a generic forend - would that fit?
Any suggestions? |

That is a "close" copy of the Ithaca Model 37, but not an exact copy.
Parts will not interchange. Your best bet is to contact ATI and ask them if it'll fit a Chinese gun. |

Chinese doesn't translate to English well. You got what you paid for. Spend a few more dollars and support American manufacture.

Sterno,
Get in touch with SOG ( http://www.southernohiogun.com/ ), they sell them so they may know where to get parts or what may fit. Also try Gun Parts ( http://www.gunpartscorp.com/ ) and as the last resort CDNN ( http://www.cdnninvestments.com/ ). Someone may be able to either help or direct you to some company that may be able.
