So are these things any good? I had a Galco on order but they're saying it won't arrive until mid-august. Are the Dillon holsters decent quality? Do they hold snugly?

Greetings Jason AR. I' ve some experience with their "Avenger" style belt holsters. The leather is a bit softer than say the Milt Sparks line. It is not detailed molded. Coupled with these factors, the absence of a steel reinforced opening makes for only a satisfactory fit at best. It would be okay for range work but not for concealment purposes. But then their prices aren' t too high.

PS- Their double thick belts however, are SUPER STIFF! Good for IWBs but difficult to loop thru belt slides/ pancakes.

I have the Dillon "LTD" holster for my Glock 21(s). I think it's one of the best holsters I ever bought in leather. Simple and functional. I use them for hip carry.

I have a Dillon "LTD" for my 1911. I have been using it in IDPA for 2 or 3 years. Seems to be holding up OK. Very comfortable to wear and reasonably fast. Bill
