5001 posts.

5001 posts.
What makes this in your opinion the best gun forum?
For me it’s the great information I learn from others. It’s also been bad since it has caused me to buy many guns I wouldn’t have known about.
Thank you TFL for the use of your forum.

The Firing Line seems to attract higher caliber people.

Seriously though, I appreciate the clean posts and informed people.

1. The staff keeps things pretty civil (thank you staff).

2. There really is a lot of knowledge here.

3. It's an entertaining place. This one might be less so now than it used to be. If you want to know what I mean do a search on the user lawdog and check out some of his posts.

TFL is filled with knowledgeable people. No flame wars, no bashing. The mods are intelligent and treat members well. TFL is a no nonsense, informative place to meet fellow gun lovers and have sensible conversations.
I don't post that much, but this site is home for me. Read the threads several days a week.

For me it is the knowledge base and the way it is imparted. For the very most part, members are civil and eloquent. There is fairly little of the chest-thumping that non gun owners probably expect gun owners to indulge in. The result of that it is a community that is welcoming and no intimidating!

What's not to like?
