30-06 150gr bullets... where are you buying yours ?
Looking to find Garand fodder - I'm completely out.
I like 150gr bullets, but 147's would do for the right price. Looking for a can or so... Thanks, BigSlick

150 gr .308
Assuming that you're interested in FMJ bullets:
Try Widener's. They are one of many sources for them. http://www.wideners.com/ |

You can't beat 147gr bullets. I buy mine in person at gunshows from www.ammunitionstore.com
However, for hunting, I use the Remington CoreLokt 150gr soft points from MidwayUSA,Cabelas, etc. Midway has them for less than .10 each. |

I'm not too happy with the 147's. I've never found one that shot worth a squat in a gas gun. The Sierra 150 grain Matchkings hold up OK. I got a bunch of CMP M2 ball at one point and pulled all the bullets and put the Sierras in. Shot reasonably well.
