Browning 30.06 semi...Belgium???

My family has an odd collection of guns and by brother wants to sell his buddy a deer rifle.
It is a Browning Semi auto with a 2x7 Leopold scope.

I have no idea about the history. It came from an estate sale. I could not find many Brownings on Gunbroker. Is this collectible in any way?
We are looking for a good "friend" price to sell it to him or keep it and tell him to go to Dick's and get a new one.

Edit: I did find them on Gunbroker. I saw a new one for $1,000. I was thrown off by the BAR lable.

If it is a good friend price you want sell it for about $850. Depends on the condition of the rifle, less if it is less than excellent.
