Red Dot Magnifier
Looking to go with a magnifier instead of changing out my red dot for a scope I have a small worry. When using the magnifier does the dot still cover up the target the same amount, just magnified? Say the dot un-magnified is covering up out to the 8 ring on your target, does the magnifier just make the dot appear larger in the reticle just like said target?

Re: Red Dot Magnifier
I believe the magnifier makes the dot bigger...BUT your target also appears bigger.

Well, wouldn't that depend on whether you put the magnifier in front of or behind your red dot? I've never used one, or even handled one, but I seem to recall seeing the magnifier in front of the red dot. So... that would lead me to think it would magnify your target and the dot...

I'm assuming as well but thought I'd ask the question to guys that had 'em.
