34 percent
Had a fellow say the other day, that a survey said that 34 percent of
the United States population owned a gun. He say he was surprize, he thought it would have been higher. I'm thinking that if anyone called me up and asked if I had a gun I would tell them no! Where would their get they figures? Do they have access to the 4473? No, I don't know who did the survery. Just throwing this out to see what the forum's thought was. Any response or reply appreciated. |

IIRC, that 34% was a Chicago-company based survey.
I would better trust Gallup: http://www.gallup.com/poll/1645/Guns.aspx That said... would you affirmatively answer the question by an anonymous poll-taker in these days of demonized weapons owners? For that reason alone I suspect the number is much (much) higher than even Gallup indicates. Last edited by mehavey; March 30, 2013 at 07:23 PM. |
