Wtd: light-duty tactical gloves with tacky palm...
Am looking for a pair of durable, light-tactical gloves to use ...
Semi-auto CC is a Springfield XDm .40.... I also have a number of tomahawks, with varying handle materials...wood, cord wrap textured micarta...as well as a number of tactical blades with micarta handles...used for CC on occasion (love the Florida law ) Rather than trying to figure out how to generate a good "tacky" grip on them, does anyone have some glove suggestions that would provide that solid, no-slip tactical grip...??? nothing too bulky...something like a tough "second skin" would be great. Being IN Florida, most of the carries will be warm weather. Thanks much - |

My picks, FL area...
I'd check these online sites; www.Galls.com www.PoliceHQ.com www.Cheaperthandirt.com www.QMuniforms.com .
5.11 Tactical, Hatch & Turtlegloves have some good kit. The Blackhawk SOLAG gloves are good too but not cheap. I'd suggest the Hatch "Shorty" Tactical or maybe the 5.11 ATAK(check brand name). Kelvar, Spectrashield & Nomex are great for flame/fire protection. Hatch & QM uniform models have special palm & finger areas for grips. I like the types with knunkle protection(back of hand). They come in OD green, tactical black, tan, dark brown etc. The Voodoo Tactical & Red Rock gloves look good too but may be rare. ClydeFrog www.Blackhawk.com www.5.11Tactical.com |

Boils down to choices, choices, choices...
