1858 remington holsters 5 1/2

if anyone is interested in holsters for the 1858 Remington my friend is a custom leather smith he just made me 2 holsters heres a link to his web site www.mikescustomleather.net he does not have any pics of holsters up at the moment i will post some pics as soon as i get a chance

I just ordered 5-1/2 inch 1858, so I'll be interested in seeing your pictures. I'll need a good holster for it.

holster

im sure you will like the quality and craftsmanship i had him make me a traditional cowboy rig im planning on doing a kirst conversion and also a half holster for when im out in the woods its a cross draw type i should be able to post pics in about 2 hours

here is the cross draw half holster i had him build for everyday carry i got this idea from cabelas catalog but there's is a cheap suede version that doesn't fit the gun well a hammer strap was added but not shown in pic's mike is a great leather smith and can build anything you can imagine

a few more pic's he can make the holsters tooled or plain he prefers to have your gun so he can custom fit them but if you have a remington or colt i can accommodate him with the use of mine. now im thinking of having him make a few cylinder holders so i can carry the BP cylinder and the kirst anyways hope this helps i know finding good holsters for these guns is hard
