has anyone tried this???

while I'm in here posting i will tell a trick a friend and I tried we too 180 35 rem rifle bullet and cut the lead point off . loaded it in a 38 sp case set the bullet deep, over min 357 load data for 4227 powder .one hole groups at 25 yards through ruger new vaquero 357 ruger . shot just as well through s/w highway patrolman 357 .. thought i bring it up for paper punchers and bullseye comp shooters.

Nothing new

I loaded a lot of 357 pistol bullets in 35 rem shells for fun plinkers. As you did, I loaded some 180 grain RN 35 rem bullets in .357 cases for a contender pistol. Shot great!

something about it being a long pointed rifle bullet makes it shoot awsome..
