Grouse Hunting Ammo?

I am going grouse hunting with my new 870 express 12 gauge in a couple of weeks, and was wondering what load and or brand/model was a good one to use. I don't mind paying a bit extra if it gets me a better shot off. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,
Matt

Well that is one of those depends questions It really depends on your gun/choke/load combo since every gun patterns differn't with differn't combos. However I like the Remington #6's, Kent #6's and Federal #6's. When hunting grouse I use either a mod or a full choke depending on where i'm hunting and the time of year, i.e, heavy foilage and such. Best bet is to get a friend or two and go in and buy a couple boxes of differn't shells and shot sizes and try them out on some paper. Any of the major manafactures offer a good load it's just trying to find which patterns best for you. Good Luck.
