.45 Long Colt Bullets

Does Anyone Know If You Can Shoot .451 Diameter Fmj 230 Grain In A .45 Long Colt Or Does It Have To Be .452 Diameter?

All that is required is that your dies size the brass enough (and don't expand it too much) to get a friction fit on the bullet. You cannot crimp a loose bullet tight.
Then it will load and shoot normally.
Accuracy? Try it out.

Originally the 45 Colt was .454". Today it's the same as the 45acp. But with both the jacketed are .451 and the cast .452".
