Yee Haw I got another Mosin

Picked up a nice laminated Hex Izzy 91/30. I can't believe I sold off my entire collection of Nagants, I must have been sick or something. Jeesh. But I like going to the SC Arms Collectors show at the Jamil Temple in Columbia, because I like doing business with SC Gun Company. They are super folks to deal with. They clean some of the cosmo off of them and clean the bores. They hand you a bore light to inspect the bores, then they check the head space right in front of you on whatever rifle you pick out of the case (NOW THIS IS HAND PICKED! YOUR HAND haha). Yeah they are marked up some from online prices (119 for this hex Izzy). Anyway if you see them at a show I recommend them. They are based in Greenville SC. I believe you can order from them also.

I'm heading up to Columbia tommorow, in the market for a mosin myself. I've always bought and owned guns but this will be my first gunshow. Glad I seen this I know who to buy it from now. Was there any good deals on sks, or ak's at all?

To be honest man everything was overpriced, except the Mosin's, Ak's, AR's, Enfields, K98's, Cap and Ball, just ridiculous prices WAY over online prices and more than my local gun shop. When you walk in to the Jamil Temple to pay your entry fee walk straight back to the first room SC Gun Company is in the back left corner as you walk in the door to that room. They have the Round and Hex Reciever 91/30's Most of them Izzy manufacture, a few M44's, some M39 Finn's, and a few sniper variants. They are great folks and they will let you inspect as many as you want before you decide. Have fun

Well unfortunately they were sold put of the hex receiver ones. They had some Tula guns but I bought a laminated stock izzy because the bore was pristine on it! Stock is spotless to I'm happy with it can't wait to shoot it! Thanks for pointing me Their way!

Awesome! I'm glad you got one you liked. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a round receiver or Izzy in my mind. I've had both and they all seem to shoot well to me. But yeah the Laminated stocks are BEAUTIFUL huh? I think I may hang this on on the wall.

By Far the M44 is the coolest Mosin to shoot, its so short its loud and blast a huge fireball out of the muzzle Usually at a public range the first time you crack her off the shooting stops for a few.
