I am looking for a soft load for practice in my .50 AE Desert Eagle using the cheap Speer 325 gr. JHP bullet. Anybody got some? If not, does 12.0 gr. of TITEGROUP (est. ~1,100 fps) sound reasonable?

Also, I plan on using the Hawk 350 gr. Flat Point bullet for hunting. Anybody have some loads for this? If not, how does 30.5 gr. of H-110 (est. ~1,350 fps) or 31.0 gr. of LIL'GUN (est. ~1,400 fps) sound?

Cheers,
David Curry

I asked this question to Hawk Bullet Co., and the gentleman emailed me back to get my address and is mailing me copies of articles by John Kronfeld with the appropriate load data. It took him a few days to dig up the articles, but he did it anyway. That is simply terrific customer service and I just wanted to brag on them a little afterwards!

Cheers,
