I would love to have a 10mm carbine. I wish KRISS would take that staple-gun rifle of theirs and make them in 10mm.

10's

WW11-the Brits made sten guns in 10. The Americans made some 10's in Me.loving lee called grease gun.
Again, one size didn't fit all.
No call for a rifle in 10, there's a rifle made in every caliber just about.

10mm camp gun

How about 10.4 mm.
You have a little money shop around. You might find a Ruger .44 magnum semi auto carbine , if I don't beat you to it.
I shot one many times, but not mine. It is a great close range gun out to maybe 100 yards.

Really? Did you mean to write "in 9" instead of "in 10"? As far as I was aware, the 10 mm auto pistol cartridges were first reported in the early 70s, 20 years after WWII ended.

If you refer to the M3/M3A1 submachine-guns they were issued in .45 ACP (more like an 11.5mm), sometimes with an extra barrel and magazine for 9mm. Doubtful that any were converted to 10mm, or would have stayed together long, once converted.

There may be no real purpose served by such a weapon, but I think the interest expressed in this thread belies the notion that there is "no call" for a rifle in 10mm.

Why do you think "there's a rifle in every caliber just about"? Because nobody wanted them?

Wow...

While I love my 10mm custom Glock longslide I made 11 years ago and in a pistol, the caliber can hold it's own against a 357mag, the 357mag's larger case holding slower burning magnum powders means it's capable of higher velocities in a rifle barrel length weapon.

As a camp gun, a 357mag Rossi Carbine levergun is hard to beat. Cheap and plentiful 357mag ammo is everywhere in 125grn, 158grn, and even 180grn loads. Further, Buffalo Bore claims their Heavy 357mag 158grn loads reach 2,153fps from an 18" Marlin levergun. If you handload it's even better as you can tune your ammo to your whim.

I've got 2 Rossi levers in 357mag, a 20" carbine and 24" rifle and the rifle with tang and globe sights on it and my 158grn handloads can reach out well past 200yds accurately.

Ranger Point Precision does a neat 10mm conversion of a Marlin 1894.

I also remember someone doing a 10mm MP5 clone recently, but it was very expensive (even more than the Ranger Point gun).

Oh heck! I have GOT to have one of those!

I'd also seriously like to have an MP5/10.
