reloading supplies
Does anyone know of a shop on Long Island that sells reloading supplies ?
tried Coliseum & a shop in Mineola with no luck. Ordered some primers from Midway but the hazmat fee $20.00 was almost as much as the primers. Would appreciate any help. |

Sorry, not familiar with any NY suppliers but for online ordering, you need to get two or three other people to get in on a larger order of primers to defray the hazmat cost. It's the only economical way to do it.
I don't think I've ever bought less than 10K of primers in a single purchase and that was usually with friends in a 20-30K order. |

Are any large stores like Cabelas, Pro Bass, Gander Mountain or such in the area. Our local Gander Mountain that just opened carries powder and primers. At least you could shop in-person that way vs. shipping and hazmat fee.
