Warner "The Infallible"
I have one of these "gems". Yes it is ugly, but I'll bet the grips on yours are not made out of an old Velveta box. Is this standard for Warner? Can any one top that?

All the Infallibles I have seen had hard rubber (gutta percha) grips, the same as just about every other handgun of the era. I guess they may have had ivory or pearl also, but have never seen any.
There were a couple of different models of the Infallibles, with different grip designs; this outfit has one style, but I am not sure it would fit your gun. http://www.gungrip.com/searchresults...m=davis+warner FWIW, those pistols have a serious safety problem in that if the breechblock is not properly latched to the spring rods, the block can come back in the shooter's face, definitely not a good idea.
