Not to sure, but might it be for firing bean bags during crowd control?

Continuing along the lines of the Rolling Blunder and Load Hocker shotguns, this is a preview of what Mossberg will be adding to their spring 2010 catalog offerings.

Grunt you are probably right. Every mall ninja will want one to add to the other useless junk.

Do you think you could post a bigger pic of it?
My guess would be a bean bag launcher powered by a blank, much like the rifle grenades of old. |

It could also be a cup discharger for tear-gas grenades.

That's a bong attachment for the Jamaican Army mon, with solid state electronic ignition system. (Note the little blue button.)

also, the attachment line launcher is the most disgustingly hideous thing i've ever seen. it has the rolling thunder and roadblocker beat hands down! |

Looks like a line launcher, but I like Sarge's idea of using it on stubborn drains.

I have seen most of the line guns sold in the past 30 or more years, this sure does not look like any of them -- they have similar looking canisters under the barrel for the line.
I suspect it is some kind of gas gernade / bean bag launcher. |

Old technology- it's a cup type gas grenade launcher. They were pretty common in US LEAs in the 1960s...
Here's one from S&W - http://www.collectorfirearms.org/web...ms/sw-1019.htm lpl

In the Navy, on an oiler during unreps. Not like any line launcher that I have ever seen. They use a 410 singleshot similar to an H&R.

Why do all of the men in that photo have a strange expression on their faces that makes it look as if they were all constipated???

I have not seen these before...
... but it looks like each of them has an arming wire anchored to the pin where the tube locks to the barrel, which makes me think Lee Lapin is correct.

Durning the Vietnam war many GIs were wounded trying to reach the supply bunker for toilet paper. With one of these the quartermaster could fire a roll of asswipe 200-300 yards. The square version could launch a pack of smokes up to 500.

Holdin - I like your idea, I still can't stop laughing. But It's a canister launcher for tear gas, almost as much tears as I am getting from the previous posts (LOLOLOLOL).
