PSO scope questions

Are there any more traditional ways of mounting a PSO? I really like the idea behind the reticle and rangefinder and such. Is there any way of putting one in some rings and slapping it on a rifle?

A Russian spec PSO will only mount to the side rail on COMBLOC rifles.

You can get commercial scopes with the same reticle, Kalinka Optics calls them the POSP line.

If it is just for a range toy then I say go for it, but if you are planning on putting it on a hunting rifle, I would recommend better optics.
