Sig followed me home today and stayed

Hadn't had a sig in years and decided for the price I would try one out again.
Sig p229 with night sites with 2 mags new out the door for 845.00 in 40 s@w. Figured it was a decent price and been sitting down at my local gunshop for a while.
Kinda leaning towards 40s@w for carry now and kinda upgrading myself from a 9mm that I've been carrying for years. Hkp2000sk but nothing wrong with the 9mm, just wanted a little more lead heading down the barrel.
Early Christmas for me!

Not trying to start a caliber war, but if you don't feel confident in 9mm I am not sure what 40SW buys you.

Congrats on the SIG!

Nothing wrong with 9mm but I like the heavier grain lead! Also 9mm you can't find nowhere but 40 is plentiful around here! He'll I even carry a 22mag naa black widow sometimes and feel well armed!

Report back when you shoot it, and hate the snappy recoil.

Get yourself a 357 Sig barrel and then you are really having a party. Sig also makes a decent 22 conversion for the P229. Congrats on a great gun.
