Anybody know where I can find detailed disassembly procedures for the Marlin Guide Gun?
Thanks, Albin |

Albin, Brownells http://www.brownells.com sells a set of books called The Gun Digest Book of Firearms Assembly/Disassembly. The Marlin rifles are in vol. IV. George

George,
I expected this type of answer and I appreciate it. But after the AR-10 at the Fall KCR Machine Gun Shoot, the new Armalite AR-15 upper and the March 15 hog hunting trip, I am a little, well, actually, a lot, over subscribed on my VISA card! I was hoping for some on-line info, if it was available. Another question: Will the procedures for a Marlin 336 work? Purpose: to do some of the accurizing work discussed by McPherson is his book "Accurizing the Factory Rifle". Thanks, Albin |

The Marlin 1895 Guide Gun is a slightly modified Model 336. Take down procedures are the same.
