Holster for a Single Six?

Looking for a holster for a Single Six that just uses a belt clip (not loops) so as to be easily removed many times a day. Ideas?

You might try FIST holsters...I've had great luck with them. Their toll-free phone # is 1-800-443-3478. Their phones shut off at 2:00 PM EST. Their e-mail address is [email protected]. Good luck;let me know if this is any help.

I think Galco also makes on. I was actually thinking about getting one for mine the other day. Let me know what you end up with.

I looked and looked. I found the Galco, ($100+) and decided I'd look for a used one. I found a used S&W holster at a gun shop for $20.00. It says 48-01 on it. Fits like a glove, even though 1/2 inch of the barrel (it's a 6 1/2 inch) sticks out.

Otherwise, if you're feeling crafty, try Tandy Leathercraft and get the holster kit for $40.00. After coloring, you'll have $65.00 in it. Tandy has leather retail locations all over the country..

I know

You said clips. But my rig for my Single 6 is a flap holster from Triple k, w/ a SEPARATE holster/ctg belt. The rig can come off as easy as unbuckling, and can be wrapped or re buckled and hung where suitable. It's probably easier than undoing a clip. Plus, you can attach or thread a leather ctg box for stuff like a survival goodies, add a cantine/ water bottle, stout sheath knife, multi tool, etc. It all comes off with one buckle.

Now,......... my SD/concealment pistols all thread on my pants belt. But my field/woods rigs all use belts w/ a few accessories.
