Pumps with tang-mounted safety (other than BPS and Mossy 500/590)
Question is in the title.
Are there any pumps out there, other than the Browning BPS and the Mossberg 500/590, that feature tang-mounted safeties? Last edited by TangoMcBlasty; September 15, 2009 at 09:16 PM. |

Already a Mossberg fan!
Brent, I already own a Mossy 500. I'm sold on the tang-mounted safety and "out of the way" shell lifter.
Just seeing what else is out there. |

Not in current production, but the JMB designed Stevens 520 had a tang mounted safety.

Stevens 520-30, that is. The earlier 520s had either suicide safeties (the earliest models) or crossbolt safeties behind the trigger guard.
Picky, picky, I know... lpl
