Allentown Gun Show April 27 & 28
Hi Guys,
Who is going to the Allentown show this weekend? Has anyone been before? I'm interested in a wide selection of modern firearms and rifles. It's a little out of the way for me but the promoter says there will be over 1000 tables. Is it worth the trip? Would I be better off waiting for the MAAC show in Harrisburg the following weekend? Thanks |

If its modern guns you are intrested in DON'T GO!
This is a militaryia and collectors show. A great majority of the guns there are of the older variety. Military weapons and even older stuff from the civil way. this is a collectables show and some of it is not even for sale just display. Don't get me wrong its not a bad show but you have to go for what it is. Old guns and older acessories. Military equipment and weapons from WWII and older. If you want to see more modern weapons wait till the next show at Valley forge convention center its in may I beleave.

JMLV,
I just spoke with the show organizer. He says the militaria and collectors' show is a different show. The show at the convention center is a regular gun show with over 1000 tables. Soda, I'll be coming in from the Philly area but I'm not sure when yet. Thanks for the replies. |

Well,
I scoured the Allentown show today looking for an IAI M1 carbine. I only found a few overpriced USGI's and a couple Plainfields. Anyone know where I can get an IAI M1 here in NE PA? Anyone know of a good gunshop that has one? Thanks |
