Nuge
Gunners,
Anyone notice that Tooth Fang and Claw and the Spirit of the Wild (Ted Nugent hunting shows) no longer broadcast on Direct TV? Does anyone know why? Rmocarsky |

rmocarsky asked the question, "Does anyone know why?" Has anyone bothered to answer the question without ragging on Uncle Ted?

The show is no longer carried by the Pursuit channel. No explanation given.

From what I have seen, Ted Nugent is not the easiest guy in the world to get along with. Who knows what happened...

Uncle Ted did get in trouble a few months ago for shooting a deer in CA IIRC, that could be one reason he is no longer on TV. He shot it over bait or something like that the "Guide" put out for him. know he caught a bunch of crap around hunting circles for not becoming familar with the hunting regs in the state he shot the deer.
Uncle Ted didn't make a whole lot of excuses for it. He paid the fine and didn't even fight it, he at least owned up to his mistake. He got caught when a CA GW watched his show, and saw he was hunting over bait. It is kind of hard to hide the evidence when you brocast it over TV. Ted might have decided to not do the show anymore for other reasons as well. I can't imagine how busy he is in his day to day life. I respect the work he does for our 2nd amendment rights and he is a key player in the NRA. While I may not agree with how he hunts every animal, he is one guy I'm glad to see on our side. He is pasionate and vocal, and people recognize him so he can do good things for our cause.

Wish he was on dish, I like his shows on hunting. He wasnt the usual rocker in my youth. Someone who got outdoors and hunted like we did.
Hope he is doing well. |
