Wild Hog Squealer Calls

Found this on Midway's site today:
http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpag...165&t=11082005

Anyone here use these? Do they work? My friend and I found an area today that looks just run over with hogs. There are 4 seperate wallows, mud splashed everywhere, rooted areas that look like they were hit by a roto-tiller, rubs and cut marks on the trees, fresh scat, you name it. However, it looks like they are bedding up during the day in a thick wooded area that is across the property boundry and I am wondering if it may be possible to call them out.

Any advise that y'all have to offer is appreciated.

From a guy that is a payed hog killer... he says they have worked for him but are very hit and miss. His advise was if you are close enough to call them, just work to them but in your case it may be your best bet... I got buddies your way with dogs if you want to get after them that way...

They have exellent sence off smell, So I would try to stay down wind on the ground They don't have great hearing & sight.I don't Know how much land your hunting on but I have used hog squealer it usally brings in big boars when they work. Sqealling hogs meas that the boar is keeping his lady in line or slappen the little boys JMO
