Need help with High Standard pistol

I have posted this in the semiauto forum also.

I have a High Standard Model 106 Military with the 7" fluted barrel on it. Many years ago, for a good reason at the time, I removed the front sight (it is a slid-in dovetail with a set screw) and have lost it. The Aimpoint I had on it died, and I wanted to revert to the iron sights.

I need dimensions to make a replacement front sight ( I have a milling machine and know how to use it), does anyone have a similiar pistol and can/will they take measurements and a digital picture of it? It would help a lot.

Thanks,
Steve

Does this help?

http://www.histandard.info/

If not, there's another site that has a forum dedicated to High Standard, it's located at www.rimfirecentral.com

Let us know if these help or not, because there may also be other places to try.

Thanks for the help, those were very interesting sites. I have gotten a front sight drawing from annother site for the 5" bull barrel, I am working on making a front sight a bit taller so I can file it down to the correct highth.
