Any Tips For Loading 460
I'm getting ready to start loading 460 ammo. I have several recipes using Hodgdon powder. Any tips for loading these shells?

I'm sure you have already seen the published pressures for the 460. If not, be sure to take a look. Powder charge mistakes are not an option here. So far, I've been putting every charge on the scale, which is no big deal, since most folks (well, me, anyway) probably won't be loading mass amounts of this round at one sitting. I am working up some 360 grain lead rounds that have worked out great. Got a little closer to near max published load on Saturday, but the recoil is pretty punishing. My only advice is to treat them like any other load, work them up slowly sticking to the published data. Also, if you will be loading lead bullets with H110, make sure they are gas checked. If you will be loading the XTPs make sure they are the XTP/Mag (thicker jacket for the high velocities). Hopefully the 200 grain Hornady SST bullet will be available for reloading soon.
