Gunshow.
Hi there. What is needed to buy a gun at a gun show as far as ID? I never been to one and would like to go and check one out. Of course they are not here in New Jersey but I heard Pennsylvania has some big shows out there. Thanks.

Just your driver license or state ID. When they call to do the FBI check that's what they use. Of course, you'll have to fill out a form, but it's pretty quick.

You may not buy and take delivery of a handgun in Pennsylvania if you live in NJ. The PA dealer will have to send it to a NJ dealer who will run the background check on you and then deliver the handgun to you.
Long guns may or may not fall under this same scenario. Check your local laws. http://nraila.org/gunlaws/

It certainly helps to have dual residency. For example: someone may live in Kalifornia, but also has residency in, oh, lets say Arizona with an Arizona ID. Makes purchasing at an AZ gun show effortless.
