Joe,

Dillon has some of the Ranier copper plated .45 200 gr SWC for $38.15/m plus 6.99 S&H. That comes to 45.14. I think the plain hard cast might be cheaper.

See Dillon Plated Bullets Page

Try not to go for the best price.....you get what you pay for! Try Laser cast or Bullseye for good price and excellent quality...

Good point Ben,but sub 1" groups aren't bad. I guess what I was really looking for was a better price for Magnus bullets as I have used them for years with good results. I would certainly try other brands if the price and quality were as good as the Magnus bullets. Thanks

I have had good success with Mid-Kansas cast bullets, especially with the 200 gr SWC in the .45 ACP.

I like laser-cast as well, almost as good as the now defunct "Legend Bullets" from Morrison Colorado. Good hard alloy.. minimum barrel leading and good velocity.

I generally load my 200 Grain swc bevel-based bullets with 4.5 to 5 grains of red dot and cci large pistol primers. Makes a very nice "plinking" load that shoots well in autos OR 4acp revolvers.

I'd avoid hornady swc with the checkered bases.. you get lube all over the place and for some reason these seem to keyhole out of my commander model.
