Flintlock Pictures

Went to the range Sunday. Wanted to see how my New I-Pad would do
taking pictures. My old buddy Dwayne of 25 years was there and I got
some pictures of him shooting the Flint rifle he built. He is a very good shot.

Nothin' like a flint smokepole! Great pics.

BTW, did he build that from scratch or from a kit?

Very cool. Thanks for posting.

I've been getting the urge for a flintlock for a while now. Saw some at a gunshow last weekend that were built in the mid to late 1700s. Got me thinking again...

That fella shooting isn't holding it very tight. You can see it jump into his shoulder when he fires it.

Seems like every time one of these little personal gadgets hit the market place. They get better & better. Clarity is pretty darn good. Thank for sharing. SSMcG

So did you pull the first three pictures from the video as stills? Like the first still, with the spark just visible ...

I have an iPad II, but haven't used the camera for anything yet. You're giving me ideas!

Yes I did. The new I-Pad camera shoots in high def. I will see if I can put it on U-Tube. If I can I will post a link.
